Vintage 1975 album "The Holy Bible," a country gospel and inspirational double LP by The Statler Brothers on Mercury Records with English-language vocals.
Two 12" black vinyl records, 33 RPM stereo double LP set with Mercury skyscraper cityscape center labels reading "THE STATLER BROTHERS – THE HOLY BIBLE – OLD TESTAMENT" on Record 1 and "THE HOLY BIBLE – NEW TESTAMENT" on Record 2, carrying catalog number SRM-2-101 with side designations SRM-2-101-A/B/C/D plus additional numbers 6672 020 and R-233929, housed in a textured red faux-leather-look gatefold cardboard sleeve with large gold "HOLY BIBLE" title, "The Old And New Testaments" subtitle, and "Placed By The Statler Bros." credit on the front.
The back cover continues the red leather pattern and presents the song titles in gold lettering along with Mercury branding, RCA Music Service club information with Indianapolis address and number R-233929, and 1975 Phonogram, Inc. manufacturing and copyright details indicating the set was made and printed in the U.S.A.
Gatefold interior features an introductory essay from The Statler Brothers about the concept of the project, full printed lyrics organized under "Old Testament" and "New Testament" headings, musician and production credits, and track listings for all four sides of the album.
